I have to write two essays for this scholarship

my topic options are: 

• What do you consider to be a pressing concern in your school/community today? Describe the problem and what you think should be done about it. 
• How would you describe yourself to someone who didn’t know you?
• What is your favorite American holiday and why?
• Describe a role model for you life. 

I’m trying to think if I even have a role model. Or if I have a favorite holiday or if I would even want to describe myself to someone who didn’t know me. And my whole application thus far is stuffy and serious, so I don’t want to talk about concerns in my community and what I would do about them even though there are a hell of a lot. 

Maybe I can do St. Thecla or something for a role model. lol. 

I would do that, but they won’t consider proposals that are “primarily religious in nature or purpose” and I’m already worried that I’m talking to much about how I <3 Islam because I’m applying to go to Morocco.
